The Lazy Oaf Drawing Club - UPDATE!

Calling all fellow illustrators, artistes and general doodlers! If you haven't heard already, we are running a big drawing event in the form of 'The Lazy Oaf Drawing Club' launching next Thursday 23rd April from 6-9pm so make sure you come along and get involved! The event is now running on an even bigger scale as we have extended it into a larger space beside our shop in Kingly Court, Carnaby Street where all the drawing fun will be happening live before your very eyes. View a map to the shop here. We want you to gather all of your pens, wax crayons and biros or get on Photoshop and send us your pieces of art. All you have to do is click on one of the frames below, draw in it and then send it back to us to info@lazyoaf.com by Wednesday 22nd April or bring it along with you on the night. Designs sent in time will be selected, printed off and displayed in our exhibition. We also have works from some of our favourite drawers including Kate Moross, Tado, Jon Burgeman, Gaston, Caba, Heidi Kenney, Bob London and Al Heighton so it is defintely worth coming along to check these out! The space is going to stay open to the general public from 23rd-26th April so it is a great chance to get some exposure of your work! There will be plenty of frames available to draw in on the night too and you can pick them up in our shop beforehand. [click frames] We've asked some of our special friends Ian Stevenson, John Slade and Joe Baglow to do some drawing on big boards on the night. But there will also be free-for-all boards up so you can be part of the doodle frenzy. We have guest DJ's on the night pulling out tunes in the form of Lydia Butler and Ian from After Skool/Bite. And don't forget this is your opportunity to get your hands on some of our brand new collection. We are giving you 20% off everything in store and there will free goodie bags up for grabs for the first 25 people to make a purchase. The exhibition space will remain open from Friday 24th April-Sunday 26th April so you have the entire weekend to come along and see everyone's work, check out the new collection and have a go at drawing in your own picture frame.
