Wish you were here...?

Last week saw the launch of Lazy Oaf's first ever postcard book which lead us to wonder, what can you do with a postcard? Apparently quite a lot.

There are all the obvious answers - you can write on the back of one and send it to someone important. This would be a particular nice gesture as I can't remember the last time anyone bothered sending me a postcard! Then you can tear them out and decorate your wall with them - we have done this in our studio and it has instantly bought life to our bare white bricked wall. Or you can individually hang them in frames turning them into instant pieces of limited edition artwork.

Or why not be a bit more creative like our intern Lucy and turn the postcards into a magical tower of Oaf wonder? With 32 postcards in total, you can build quite an impressive construction, all you have to do is get handy with a pair of scissors.

If you want to push your creativity to a whole new level then try your hand at making one of these Lazy Oaf bird houses. It is about time you treated that tweeting robin outside your room to a real home. Whether a bird lives in it or not, these houses make fantastic decoration to any blank wall and will bring a bit of nature back indoors. So there you have it, it turns out there is a quite a bit you can do with a postcard. If anyone else has any wise ideas then do let us know and if you get your hands on a book then please send us photos of what you do with yours. There could be a prize in it for you! x
