When it snows, ain't it thrilling?
Last Thursday 19th November (yes we are still in November believe it or not!) Alex and Jerry scuttled out of the office early to race down to Bond Street and check out their Winter Wonderland. OK so it wasn't quite the Santas Grotto we were expecting but it certainly got us into the Christmas spirit a bit more. The biggest attraction beyond a doubt were the reindeer, check out Rudolph above, I hope this hasn't tired him out too much before the big day. To our dismay, Father Christmas wasn't there himself so instead we pretended to be him by having a ride on his sleigh. If there was one thing, or person, that really got the cameras flashing then it was the celebrity appearance of English rose Anna Friel who turned on the lights. And my oh my was she looking the part wrapped up in her very own massive pink bow. Despite the massive crowds, we just about managed to capture her in all her winter wonder. Last week it snowed in London! Well it did in Bond Street anyway and we can tell you it really did feel like the real thing even if it was just some foam blasting out of a big pump. We got soakedddddd! And of course there was plenty of entertainment to keep us excited including some giant Christmas fairies with light up skirts (and I thought my shoes were high) and some juggling genius' that we ran into. To end our winter wonderland adventure, a Christmas elf treated us to an amazing complimentary cinnamon truffle courtesy of Charbonnel et Walker and we haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. So to all those Scrooges out there - face the facts, Christmas is well and truly on it's way and we cannot wait! x
