WE LOVE HOTDOGS
As you are probably already aware, us Lazy Oafs are mad about fast food... the hot dog is a particular favourite. So much so we've not only got a scarf with them on, we've also dedicated this blog to them. After roaming the Carnaby land in search of the hottest and not-est dogs ,we have compiled our worst and best recommendations for your next food fix when visiting the Oaf shop.
London Trocadero. 7-14 Coventry Street, W1D 7DH
Low-fat hot dog? no thanks!
Marks and Sparks. 169-173 Oxford Street, W1D 2JD
Defeating the fast purpose of fast food, you have to cook these guys for yourself. Therefore they lose.
Cafe Pomodoro. 2 Kingly Street, London W1B 5PB
A good sausage butty, though this one lost points when the thin bread gave way mid bite.
Cafe Aroma. 22 Cranbourn Street
Everybody loves a jumbo size sausage, its thumbs up from us!
The Diner. 18 Ganton Street, W1F 7BU
But these all American beauties are in a whole different league. With ridiculously tasty toppings piled high, there's never a dry moment with these winners. The bacon chili cheese dog (the lefty) is our personal recommendation. Beans, cheese and bacon dribble over the edges, nommmm.
However nothing will beat our very own Hot dog scarf. This one gets 11 out of 10 from us and perfect to keep you warm this bonfire night. Have a good en' and if you know of any other hot fast food joints around let us know.
