Next Friday will see the launch of our Drawing Club Collection II T-shirts. To celebrate, next Friday 25th November from 6-9pm, we are inviting you to come and shop, drink cider and get drawing! The theme of the night is Geometricity and we want you to come and populate our paper city with your own drawings. Below we've put together some artists own interpretations of cities, buildings and geometric shapes to get you inspired for the night! First up is Art legend David Hockney's urban landscapes: "A Rake's Progress - The Arrival" 1961 - David Hockney "French Shop" 1971 - David Hockney "Mulholland Drive" 1986- David Hockney Hort go 3D with their cover illustration for Enroute Magazine. A city of dots in Oloom's Visual Identity by Welcometo We love the geometric "Spacehead" by Kaleidophant 2009 Landland does layers in this 2009 screenprint Imeus Design kept it simple with sillohettes in "Monolith" "Gold Light" by Nathaniel Russel 2006 Artist Chris Johanson painting 3D buildings at his exhibit in Tokyo 2001 and below brings his city to life by adding in speech bubbles.
