See You Next Tuesday: Wes Anderson, Ashes 57 and Saving Southbank

Welcome to this weeks latest installment of See You Next Tuesday where the Lazy Oaf team fill you in on the things that have caught our eye or got us talking in the office over the past 7 days. This week we're taking a look at Wes Anderson's new short for Prada, how you can help to save Southbank and some London inspired prints from Ashes 57. 1. INTERNET SENSATIONS: Wes Anderson for Prada. Wes Anderson has teamed up with fashion house Prada to create a beautifully shot short following the journey of a crashed racing driver (played by Jason Schwartzman) in a small Italian town in 1955. The short film is full of a host of great cinematography thanks to Darius Khondji and is a must watch for any fans of Wes Anderson's work. You can watch 'Castello Cavalcanti' online here. 2. FOOD FAVOURITES: Winter Crisps. As Christmas approaches expect to find a host of festive treats available for a limited time only. If you've been craving for a crisp suitable for winter you're in luck! Kettle Chips have introduced a new flavour to their range with the 'Port and Stilton' flavoured handmade chips. Find out where you can try a bag here. 3. WINDOW SHOPPING: Ashes 57. Last week London based artist / illustrator Ashes 57 held her solo exhibition 'Cities' at the Rag Factory in Shoreditch. Having been a fan of her work for a while, our menswear press and marketing co-ordinator James went down and bought some limited prints. If you didn't manage to make it down check out her online store here for a range of London inspired black and white prints. 4. MEDIA MATTERS: Long Live Southbank. Plans to demolish one of the worlds most culturally significant skateboarding spots have been met with huge opposition thanks to a professional operation from the team at LLSB. With the Southbank Center apparently ignoring growing campaign support, LLSB have put together an educational film showcasing the 40 year history of Southbank, explaining the reasoning behind the Long Live Southbank campaign and the importance of preserving the location.
