Monday is always a killer and the weekend might seem a lifetime away, but our latest edit of the weeks best talking points has got your Tuesday covered. If you've got a sweet tooth and a penchant for so ugly they're adorable cats look away now...  1. INTERNET SENSATION Crying for the Colonel Wow is this news hard to swallow! The worlds most regal feline beast Colonel Meow has sadly passed away. The Internets loss is kitty heavens gain, but lets all prey there is a fine glass of scotch and a logfire waiting for him. In his short 2 years (25 in cat years) the Himalayan-Persian mix won accolades from the Guiness Book of Records and even once appointed himself CEO of Buzzfeed! The little gremlin graced Instagram with such ferocious majesty, that even the the king and queen of cat memes Grumpy Cat and Lil Bub sent their condolences declaring his death "A grumpy day indeed". Rest in peace Colonel, you certainly turned our frown upside down ! 2. MEDIA MATTERS Virtual Sculpture Net artist La Turbo Avedon is leading the way exposing the internet as a multi-media material in itself . With her latest interactive project Club Rothko Builder users can simply upload an image URL and have hours of fun distorting beyond recognition. The originally flat images are gif mapped onto 3-d digital mesh, shape shifting and decomposing based on the pictures light and dark areas. Enjoy sifting through other peoples hypnotic patterns and pyramids, or simply turn those lo-fi selfies into something worth sharing. Our Looney Tunes look book got seriously scrambled above. 3. FOOD FAVE Meringue Meltdown Calling all sweet tooth's ! If your pastel obsession this Spring can't be satisfied by a simple pink coat purchase or dip dyed mane, our new sugary obsession Meringue Girls might be just the medicine you need. Born, bred and whipped in Hackney East London, our new favourite treats are available in a rainbow of colours, and shaped into light as a feather pointed "kisses". Go on, make the cupcakes jealous. 4.WINDOW SHOPPING What's the point of it? This weekend we hotfooted it down to Martin Creed's latest exhibition at London Southbank's Hayward Gallery. Signature playful themes of mundanity, repetition and domestic home life are a plenty, but it was the prickly parade of cacti we wanted to emulate in our own homes. Get some green fingered inspiration from now until Sunday 27th April .
