Making Jellies with JuJu
Wibble wobble wibble wobble jelly shoes on a plate... But have you ever wondered how they got there? In case you missed the news earlier this week, this Thursday see's us join forces with Northampton based shoemaker JuJu to create a high summer footwear collection so cute and pastel youâll want to serve them with ice cream! The Original British Jelly Shoe. JuJu was established in 1986 and the family run business has been manufacturing iconic footwear in Northampton from their glitter filled factory ever since. We decided an opportunity to watch the transformation from a gummy mixture lovingly stirred with glitter and colour pigment into a shoe was a Willy Wonka-esque chance that we couldn't miss so with our golden ticket we hopped on a train and headed to the land of jelly. -------------- Launching May 7th, in Lazy Oafâs flagship London store, 2 Ganton Street, W1F 7QL.
