Girls of Summer | Molly Soda
Following on from Sanam's interview in our series of work by girls for girls, we tap Internet artist and living meme Molly Soda. Just as likely to be found live streaming karaoke on youtube as she is hanging out with a giant teddy bear boyfriend, we couldn't wait to connect with the girl behind the gifs. So Molly, what does summer look like in your head? Summer to me is sitting on the porch for the entire day, drinking slurpees, hanging out in parking lots at night, trying to figure out what to do next. The thing about summer is everyone's just complaining about the heat! We spend most of the year suffering through winter and then are totally ungrateful when sunshine rolls around. If you're gonna waste the good weather you should just go to the mall. Like walk into every single store even if you would definitely never buy anything there. Don't feel guilty for wanting to have fun and don't feel guilty for wanting to stay inside either. I mean, everyone's at Coachella and then I'm just lying in bed on my computer. But my best advice is just drink a lot of water... seriously.
