Cooking with Cookie D'oh

With Great British Bake off dominating our screens this Autumn, baking is really in its element in the UK right now. But all that stretching out dough and layering pastry is a bit too technical for us which is where Cookie D’oh comes in. Set up in London by Eastbourne girl Hannah Weeden and illustrator Annu Kilpeläinen, originally from Finland, Cookie D’oh happened as a result of boredom and the girls mutual love for baking and The Simpsons. We've teamed up with the girls to make masterpieces for numerous store events over the past year so today we wanted to give you a bit more of an insight into the brains behind the biscuits. We visited Annu’s East London studio and watched the girls work their magic on some zombified Looney Tunes cookies whilst chatting about Homer Simpson, drawing tits and Mary Berry's make over. cookied-oh.tumblr.com
