Your Y2K Playlist and Day to Night Looks with Zooey Gleaves
Our new range Book Lovers Never go to Bed Alone in collaboration with illustrator Laura Callaghan explores themes of escapism through the idea of curling into bed with a book and being transported to a new world. Laura’s illustrations are known for showing women who are bored, apathetic and almost-prisoners of the impossible beauty standards they’re held to.
Like Laura, Founder and Editor-In-Chief of THIIIRD magazine, Rhona Ezuma , is putting beauty on a spectrum through an inclusive lens with aims to break down ideal beauty standards. Her publication and online platform is dedicated to exploring the true benefits of diversity within race, gender, sexuality, ability, faith and/or heritage as well as amplifying the voices and visibility of talent from underrepresented backgrounds.
We chat to Rhona about starting THIIIRD, where we’re at with beauty standards, our shared love for getting lost in books and how she relates to this dream-like collection.
