Vans x Lazy Oaf Launch Party

Last night, Thursday 12th April, we launched our collaboration collection with Vans with a private party at House of Vans.

Arriving into the underground tunnels beneath Waterloo Station, guests drank pink Tequila cocktails and pulled faces in the photo booth with custom Vans x Lazy Oaf prints and GIF’s.
Set designer Penny Mills’s installation in Tunnel 1 featured hanging shards of pink mirror Perspex and turquoise mesh arches, which guests sat beneath on benches. Our creative director and founder Gemma Shiel took to the stage to introduce the collaboration and talk through the range, before Mira Bourdon from Vans HQ in California discussed combining both Off The Wall and Keeping it Weird and why the collaboration felt so natural.

Moving to Tunnel 2, the party started as guests were served Fried Chicken, Fish and Mushroom Tacos, and DJ Snoochie Shy served tune after tune. Our neon Lazy Oaf sign sat on a wall of leafy green plants, the perfect photo opp spot as the dancefloor started filling up and the drinks were flowing.

Guests included Hypebae, Kyra TV, Hypebeast, Hunger, Complex and Miss Vogue influencers Kicki Yangz and Sandra Bulldock from Germany, Armelola and Martina Pinto from Italy, Hannah Louise F and Millie Cotton, stylist Kitty Cowell, artists Joey Yu, Rene and Maggie Matic and skaters Aimee Gillingwater and Savannah Stacey Keenan.
