Lazy Oaf Presents: The Oaf License
Last Thursday, for one night only, the Lazy Oaf team transformed our Ganton Street Store into a newsagents aptly titled 'The Oaf License' to celebrate the second drop of our women's autumn collection. Getting handy with paper, cardboard and a pair of scissors, Dee and Emily handcrafted giant chocolate bars and customised cans and bottles of pop inspired by prints from our latest range. Jake made us a selection of top shelf magazines and Gemma got creative designing a print of Lazy Oaf's very own range of cigarettes. Downstairs hosted our own tuck shop complete with pick n' mix, packets of crisps and a sweet selection of Rekorderlig Cider. We're still recovering from the sugar crash! Our DJs Shorebitch and Murlo treated guests to an array of pop, R'n'B and hip hop classics throughout the evening. We also invited you lot to draw ads to fill the shop window with and our favourite entry coming from Kyle (see below) who won £100 to spend in the Lazy Oaf Store. You can see more photos from the event over on our Facebook page. Photography by Sam Hiscox. Sinead and Paul manning the tuck shop in the Cans of Pop and Bits N Bobs Shirts. Shorebitch DJ Mem played us some songs wearing the Xlent T-shirt. The Shorebitch girls ruled the decks and we had a visit from Angelo and Samantha from Pause Magazine.
The crazy boggle eyed dog in a bowler hat advertising Coke Zero was selected as the winner of our Design a Sign Competition.
Our amazing friend Lucy from Creighton's Chocolaterie made us our very own giant Twit Bar especially for the event.
